You should now have an understanding that search engine spiders pay close attention to words that are
emphasized. Placing emphasis on
the header text is an important way of boosting the relevancy of your keywords within your page. Emphasizing keywords does not stop
with the header. The body of your content should also be adjusted to place emphasis on your keywords. It's important to mention that
your keyword phrase should appear at least once in the first sentence of your content and contain some form of emphasis. To emphasize
your keyword in the body of your content, wrap it in one of the following HTML tags:
- [ strong ] or [ b ]: Keyword phrases in the main body of the text should be emphasized where it makes sense.
Be careful not to over emphasize though. In most cases having the header text [ H1 ] and [ strong ] on the first and last occurrence
of your keyword within the body of your content will be sufficient. As you re-read through your content you may find that some areas
emphasis on your keywords will be a natural part of the content and not feel forced.
